Whether it be from video games, movies, books, comics, or academia, everyone has heard about the Templars, the most ancient and the most public of the three factions represented in The Secret World. They’ve played the role of heroes, villains, and everything in between, but who were they really? Is the faction represented in The Secret World similar to the one that really existed, or is it derived from a variety of sources?

In this edition of Lore Spotlight, we’re going to examine the history behind the real Templar Order in relation to the one presented in The Secret World. Who were they? What were their goals? Po raz pierwszy w naszym dziale Cabal Spotlight prezentujemy Cabal multi-frakcyjną. Hermetic Order of Trinity, polska Cabal jest domem dla wszystkich trzech frakcji polskiej społeczności. Cabal została założona pod koniec 2011 roku przez administratorkę i założycielkę pierwszego fansite’u The Secret World: http://www.tswo.pl/ Cabal jest podzielona na trzy Loże, po jednej dla każdej frakcji. Każda Loża jak również sama cabal jest grupą demokratyczną, która umożliwia adeptom jej rozwijanie.

Cabal Spotlight – Hermetic Order of Trinity

A first for us in the Cabal Spotlight is a multi-faction Cabal. Hermetic Order of Trinity, a Polish cabal, is a home for all three factions for the Polish community. They were founded in Late 2011 by the founder and aministrator of the first polish fansite http://tswo.pl. The cabal is broken down into three chapters, one for each faction. Each chapter having a structure that fosters democratic environment that allows for members to shape the cabal.

You can catch up with Zamira, a member of the ‘new Templar’, who spends her free time with an unlikely friend Konrad Engel, who is a member of the ‘old guard’. You can stop by and listen to them talk and bicker.
